"More O2 Less C02"

ree

Strength training is an endurance sport that increases the stimulus within the muscle fibers to withstand more weight. Without proper breathing techniques the body will not be able to perform at higher levels of stress that increase the heart rate in which increases the rate of breathing. More oxygen within the blood stream will then improve its microvascular network feeding process as this network is directly related to the endurance of muscle tissue. The more Carbon Dioxide in the blood stream the more it enhances fatigue levels within the muscles. Muscle fibers are activated once oxygen is circulating throughout the blood stream's microvascular network. Think of the muscles relationship to blood flow, as gas is to a car's engine. It is a necessity for blood flow to be in constant circulation inside of the molecular structure of muscle tissue in order for them to perform at higher intensities. The less waste the blood stream possesses the better the performance.

A breathing technique I like to practice in times of high anxiety is called Pranic breathing. It is a Eastern breathing technique where you inhale for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, exhale for 8 seconds, and then repeat. 10 minutes of your day is all you need to change your chronic anxiety that is keeping you from socializing. 10 minutes of your day is all you need to change your relationship with anxiety. 10 minutes of your day is all you need to change your relationship with PTSD.
